Not so budget. Haha.
Okay. So we went for a 3 days trip to Bandung, again (we've been to Bandung last year on December, remember?). It was supposed to be a budget trip as we planned. But mama goes crazy as she found the cotton shop at Pasar Baru - Sona textile. Oh my the cotton is irresistible. Every pieces is nice and eye catching. Bought 7 pairs of cotton, 5 for me and sara (tema sepasang) and the rest are my wild and sexy design (yes I've got the leopard design of cotton).
Dan terpaksa import lagi 1.6juta from Malaysia, which brought by my brother. Oh, btw my brother did joined us during the trip but he arrived a bit late (night flight).
So, again we stayed at Sukajadi. Was a bit turn off masa dapat bilik. The air-cond was spoiled. Rosak. Plus they were having construction near to our room, ketuk-ketuk bagai. Bising sangat. Wonder how my kid would sleep if these continues. Dengan tak ada aircond nya. Hangin sangat. At first they won't allow us to switch room. But after several attempts of repairing the aircond (like, perlu ke skrg baru nak repair?) and being insisted from us (after few calls made by us minta nak tukar bilik), finally we've been transfered to another room, which is faaaar from the contrustion area. Fuhhh.. a relief. Alhamdulillah. And the best part is, we get a bigger, higher rates room. =D
And we did rent a supir, again from setiawan group. I believe the price offered by iwan setiawan was still much cheaper compared to the others. 400k per day (around 13 hours of services), inclusive of petrol and parking fee. Tips utk supir tu lain kira lah. It was on you anyhow. But both of the supir (day 1 and day 2 different supir) were not our favorite, even though the day-1 supir was the super "otai" ones. Our previous trip supir - Selamet was better, in terms of protection and such.
Shopping was ok. Oh, it was great. Managed to grab 10 pieces of cloth for Sara, 3 pairs of shoes (yang bunyi, lampu semua ada), and one "cat" which she said identical to her cat back home. Most of Sara's clothes were from Anak Kecil FO. Rumah Mode Kids langsung tak cantik this time around. And for me, got my Rock & Republic jeans, and 2 tops from Rumah Mode. MM spend a lot there. He's got a casual blazer, a short and jeans. Contented katanya. =P
Oh I didn't bought the handbag that I planned to. Sebab sampai2 je Bandung nampak makcik naik motor bawak beg LV. Oh so nottttt. Rather than spending 300-400k buying those replica bag, baik beli bag Charles & Keith je. So decided, no bag.
If you are looking for perfumes, go to Oasis FO. There are perfume collector shop that sells hundreds type of perfume. You can get 30ml perfume for 45k. Perfect size for travel (on board).
Food was okay too. We had lunch at Sederhana Nasi Padang two days in a row, dinner at Pak Chi Met two nights in a row jugak, and minum petang at food corner Rumah Mode two days in a row jugak. Oh for note, baso campur malang at RM is tempting and yummy. Even sara loves it too. Oh I had my all time favorite pisang cheese and alpukat juice few times too. Fresh tea pun sedap (teh botol). Try la. =)
Flight was superb. We purchased the Red Carpet Air Asia online, for 100/person and oh boi, tell you what it is soooooooooo worth a single cent. No queuing up during check in at LCCT (well u LCCT kan), No bag weighing (hand carry kami over-weight sebenarnya hehe), access to lounge with yummy buffets, a buggy ride to the flight door step (best part, tak perlu jalan walkway you), and a pass through off all the ques, except custom lah, obviously.
Well overall was a nice trip. Perhaps we need another 3-4 yrs to return to Bandung lagi kot. Boring dah. Another place perhaps? Hehe. Whatever it is, saving up takes place now. No more unnecessary spending. Baju-baju yang dah beli tu cukup 2-3 tahun pakai kot =P
