Allergic to antibiotic

Poor Sara. The raya holidays had been not a so happy moment for her. She was down with fever since Saturday. She's been so weak and clingy. She would even cry at anything and sit still and silently. The way she act makes me worried sick. Alhamdulillah the fever reduce on Sunday and she's back with her active mode. Playing and smiling as usual. :)

But another things happen. After taken the medication prescribed by the doctor, including the antibiotics. I was kinda curious why doctor give antibiotic to a baby? She's not even 1 year old. Recall that she had high fever, which is 39.5 degree, I dreadfully follow the instructions. Hoping for the best for my little girl. After taking few dose of the antibiotic, her body and face started to developed rashes. Previously the doctor has remind us that she might be having viral rashes due to the high fever. But mak said it looks like campak. Oh so edgy I became.

Yesterday (Tuesday), we brought Sara to her paediatrician, Dr Afifah @Kpmc the first thing in the morning. After being examined, she told us it was not campak, nor measles. Sara has allergy to antibiotic. Ya Allah. I knew it! The antibiotic seems not right! Screw the doctor. Paed strictly instruct us to stop the antibiotic. Luckily the last time I gave her the a/b was only last night. Paed give us the anti-allergic med, and the calamine lotion and told us that the rashes will fade out in 48hours period. Good thing is Sara has no more fever since monday and she's again mama's active munchkin.

Today I sent her to the babysitter. I hope she's well (after a lonnggg clingy session with mama). Oh how I really miss her smiling face, miss being kissed and hugged by her. Can't wait the office hour to end!

Can you spot the rashes on her face?

Sara & Adib @Cyberview Resort & Spa

And yes we are here! For 2 nights. Pre-book on hotel's website for Superior Chalet but been told during the check-in that Superior chalet is not available at the moment so guess what, our room has been upgraded to Executive Deluxe for no extra charge. How cool was that! Yeah I know I know. Hehe. The room is huge and super nice and it has a four-poster bed. Super like. And our chalet is only few steps away from the pool. Rezeki Adib n Sara. Its Adib's first outing and first hotel stays. Anyway I am so gonna enjoy our stay here in Cyberview. Had bfast earlier at Verandah Restaurant and strolling around the resort and surveying the pool area. Sara had her 1st round of swimming with MM while I bathed Adib in our room. Later will go to IOI putrajaya for lunch.  For now, lets cherish the moment and enjoy the photos while i'm joining the kids and hubsy for a nap. Later. Hope you guys have a splendid school break too.

Ordinary Spa at Penjara Wanita Kajang

Ordinary ke? Tak lah ordinary sangat. It is just a typical Balinese concept Spa. But what makes it ordinary is the location and the Spa therapist itself. It is the Penjara Wanita Kajang Spa I was mentioning about :) Went to these spa last week because I need a back massage so badly. Luckily I have an old friend working at Penjara Wanita Kajang as warden. I did asked her the procedure and such. She offered to make a reservation for me instead. Easy peasy :). So, I just went there and waited for her to bring me to the spa. I did not take photo at the spa (we are allowed to take pictures but I forgot to do so. Excited sangat). It is a beautiful place and the therapists were very nice to us. I had a splendid time and enjoyed the 1 hour full body massage of mine.My therapist was a 30-yrs-old Sulawesi-an and she's also a mother to a 6-yrs-old daughter.  The price is way too cheaper compared to the common spa. I paid RM40 for full body massage (traditional massage) an...

..

I am excited to update this dusty blog. But what shall I write about? - I don't know. Being in the third trimester - 36 weeks to be exact is no kidding. I guess when you're aging and pregnant you feel lethargic very easily. Maybe I am not FIT enough? But still, you have to deal with what you have to do at work and home instead. You could not complain much. Errands have to be run. I still cook for dinner, almost every day. Laundry, no exception. Cleaning, yes but once in a while though. Sara has been busy. I think she's still adapting to her new schedule. Previous 2-3 weeks was hectic for her. Despite a tight schedule at school, she had to attend numbers of rehearsal sessions for her first and second #TARI show. She looks tired, or so I think. But I can see that she had a pleasant time. You know the feeling when you've got the chance to do things that you fond of. That's more like it. Counting days to Adib's 3rd birthday. It's on April 28th. May this ...
