oh what a hiatus. I should blame the hormones for the lack of update. It has been nearly a year since the last entry. Being pregnant (was) and a mom (recent) to a beautiful little girl keeps my life hectic (in a good way I assume). During preggie period I was busy googled for pregnant-related stuff. And during the confinement, there goes breastfeeding problems and stuffs pulak. Macam2.
Just a brief story of my pregnancy. Basically I did not encounter with any "serious" problem during 38 weeks of being pregnant.Alhamdulillah. I did the monthly check up at gov clinic and KPMC Kajang since we have opt to give birth at KPMC. There were two gynea at KPMC. Dr Jamil and Dr. Mimi but Dr Jamil is the specialist O&G. So we opt for Dr. Jamil. Quite a serious person. But my hubby and I like him. It's just that we feel comfortable with him. He confide us with his words.
I had routine check up with gov clinic here. The doc and nurses mcm tak puas hati sebab diorang measure perut I kecik. Siap suspect baby IUGR lagi tu and refer to Hosp. Kajang. But when the doc at Hosp. Kajang scan she said..nothing wrong..normal.Everything was okay and the baby is unlikely IUGR. Pastu ada sekali tu pun tak puas hati jugak sebab berat terlebih 0.5kg masa check up (suppose the increment is 0.5kg per week during week 30 and above). Sampai kena monitor BP selama seminggu. Doc dekat klinik panel pun wonder.. apasal nak kena monitor BP pulak sbb my BP mmg elok sangat2..average 100/70. They even paksa2 suruh minum air gula to check kandungan gula dalam darah. padahal masa tu I was 36 weeks pregnant and will deliver the baby any time je. So I decided to refused...sampai ponteng check up session. Haha..
But things were different with Dr Jamil. He told us baby was small by 2 weeks but baby looks healthy. Just a small baby. Nothing to worry. Alhamdulillah.. what a relieved. Asalkan baby sihat kan. We had monthly detailed scan on the baby to see the development.
I had my last check up with Dr Jamil on 13th November 2010. Masa masuk bilik dia, dia tanya..tak ada rasa sakit lagi? Because my EDD was 11th Nov 2010. And I said..belum pun. When he check, the servics open is 1cm. He told us to come again on Monday morning. Siap remind suruh datang pukul 9. Sbb kitorang selalu jadi the last person before his lunch time. hehe.
Monday morning, my parents, hubby and I went to KPMC. Dah siap2 bawak beg semua. Tapi still takde rasa sakit lagi. Bila check opening, still 1 cm jugak.Doc suruh masuk ward. Masa tu mcm tergamam and tak tau nak response apa. Hubby pulak tanya lagi sekali..."Hari ni masuk wad ke doctor?". Doc ckp ye..masuk wad. Soon after that..
